Long Absence

Wow. I haven't posted a comment (or a deviation) for more than a year. I am still getting the occasional page view, as well as a few favourites. Perhaps I should start posting again.

It just seems that deviantart has become so huge. I almost feel lost in here, wondering whether my work will get paid any attention at all. People don't post comments anymore, it seems. They just surf around and select the odd favourite. It's sad - almost as though the spirit of this place has changed.

I may, of course, be completely wrong. So I think I will do that, post a few new deviations and see the response in terms of views, comments and the like. That will be the acid test that will determine whether or not I become a regular poster again. Seems fair...
